All my Trippin' (not drugs, just vacations)

I started out February with a good trip to St. George with some friends that I hardly ever see, but when I see them, we're real friends for life! It was a great time! It was kind of just a jumble of people and we just hit it off real well and had a splendid time! We went hiking and splunking and went to church and walked around the temple. We went swimming and napped in the sun. We went to this incredible Red Neck Heaven called Little Jamaica! Awesome! And we ate pizza and played games. We met Grandma Judy and she's in the top 20 of my favorite people I'm not related to. My favorite part of the trip, besides just being with awesome people, was on Monday when we hiked Angel's Landing in Zion's. It was an incredible view and super fun! I loved it! Here are some pictures from our time at the top of the world!

Super fun, super cool people. Call us if you need some Awesome friends!

Then we had school. It's great. But we went on another vacation the next week! Me and Livi met Mom at Taffy's on Friday afternoon and we made the trek out to Laramie to see our sibs out there! It was a fun weekend! We managed to not take a single photo, but had a great time! Sometimes I think it's okay to not take a photo because I feel like it means I'm just livin in the moment, and I love livin in the moment. It was fun to get to see all of my siblings and nieces and nephews except for Tami and Casey and their boys. It was a really good weekend!

My friends in Provo were wondering if I was ever going to stay and play there and my bishopric asked me when I was coming back to church... so last week I stayed in Provo and had a great weekend! It would have been super fun last weekend to come to State Wrestling. My cousin James wrestled for his 4th state title, and won it! I am so proud of him! He is not only an incredible wrestler, but a dang good person!

Three times a week, every week this semester I have gone on vacation. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, Livi and I hit up Sundance. It's for reals--I'm officially in LOVE with skiing. I'm not nearly as good as Olivia, but I have improved so much and have so much fun skiing! On Monday I was in a weird mood and felt kind of heavy, and Tuesday morning I was still in a little funk. Then I went up to the ski hill, was having a good time, then I biffed a few times and it was just hilarious and Liv and I were just laughing and by the end of the day, the weird mood was gone and I was just incredibly happy! What a therapy and a good thing in my life this semester! I got to be outside getting freckles and got to spend lots of time with my Sis! I love skiing!

And this weekend, I'm back on the road, writing this blog from Casper, Wyoming where I came to watch Wyoming High School 1A/2A State Basketball!! I look forward to this weekend every year and have been since I was 5. It's one of my most favorite weekends in the year! I love Cokeville High School basketball! This year I was doubly pumped because the boys made it too, so I got to watch CHS boys and girls! It was a good weekend! My Dad is the coach for the Girl's team and I'm so proud of the team! They did what the coaches asked, played with some serious heart, and got the job done!!! It was an intense weekend with some fun games! I loved being here! I'm glad I could come support my Dad and the teams and see family and friends!

Lots of our family showed up in support of our Dear ol' Daddio Raddio Rooskers!
I'm so proud of my Dad and my Mom keeps a good book! I have cool parents!

I want to give a special shout out to the coaches from Cokeville this weekend. Not just my dad and the basketball coaches, but the football, volleyball, wrestling, cheer and track coaches as well. I am so glad I went through the programs that I did and that I had the coaches that I had. I'm also grateful for the programs that all my guy friends went through because I knew they were getting the same top class advice and coaching that I was getting and it made them better people for me to be friends with. My coaches were always emphasizing how they wanted me to be good at volleyball and basketball and track, but that the main goal was that I would learn valuable life lessons and come out of high school ready to be a good citizen, wife, and mother. They were constantly reminding us that sports were important, but that our personal development was the real importance. I know that all the coaches at CHS have that same mentality. I feel so much love and support from my coaches and teachers even still. I've been out of school for two years and I still know they're supporting me because they weren't just interested in me being a winner on their court, they wanted me to be a winner in life. I'm so grateful for that attitude and all the great things I learned through CHS sports. Thank you to all my coaches all the people that I call Coach! You're amazing people and I wouldn't have wanted to play for anyone else! Thanks for making me feel so tied to CHS forever! I love Cokeville!!

(and I love all the trips and vacations and fun things that I'm doing in my life)
